Consumer Management
For most people, money is a huge motivator. It drives decisions from the grocery store, to real estate, to career choice, and even beyond. In today’s economy, students must be informed and know how to make wise decisions concerning their money. This class will give students guided opportunities to explore how advertising affects consumerism, their rights and responsibilities as consumers, budgeting basics, as well as banking and savings options, and credit options and responsibilities. If we are brave enough, we may even delve into the purchase and use of various types of investments and insurance!
